Offered is a well preserved 2cm example of a rare UK trinucleid: Anebolithus sp. from the Llanvirn Series; Abereiddian Stage of Gilwern, Builth Inlier, Wales.
This is a probably undescribed species which is distinct from the type species A. simplicior. It is the rarest of the three trinucleid species at this famous site, which yields many large Ogyginus corndensis in abundance.
Great price for a very attractiveand rare specimen; one for the advanced collector!
